Born in 1984 during the Superbowl in the glow of an Apple® advertisement, by 1985 Fifi was managing the Purity Supreme store in Bedford. After a chance late-night meeting there with Glenn Burke late that year, he moved in with Glenn and began assisting in the running of the Lexington Home for Wayward Randoms and the Terminally Burned Out. In the summer of 1990 the Lexington Home was closed, and they moved to their present location in Cambridge, founding Fifi's Kitchen.

Sometimes Fifi and his friends get together for a quiet read. Fifi and his friend The Monster are rather fond of stimulating themselves intellectually. George and Ronnie, as we know, are pretty vapid. Byron, having been weaned on Unix, still can't figure out how to use a GUI.
Fifi's been reading the last book by John Boswell. Sometimes those dense footnotes get a bit boring though.
Fifi relaxes with a friend after a long day in the kitchen.
Fifi shows off the fashion flair that helps make the Kitchen such a hit.
Sometimes, Fifi needs to travel incognito. In these trendy Lisp and Functional Programming conference sunglasses and Burberry's scarf, Fifi would easily be mistaken for an ML programmer, and so can rummage through neighbor Julia Child's trash with aplomb.
Fifi's demanding clientele requires delivery with speed and style.
As this outtake from the photo shoot of the endpaper tart shows, Fifi is always nearby supervising all aspects of the Kitchen's operations.
